Life drawing. November 11th 2010

Life Drawing. 20 minute pose. Use of tonal values, dry brushing, watercolour pencil, negative space and plumb lines. November 11th 2010. I feel this is one of my most accomplished pieces of life drawing work. The choice of colour palette and sweeping, expressive brush strokes connote sorrow and a sense of unrest. I also love the contrast between white space and deep shading which creates drama. I feel this is a very striking painting and I am proud of my work here.
